This is the area that you will find useful information on Home Learning. It is vital that children get support at home with their Home Learning. 

In ESPS we only provide learning homework. This requires children to use a strategy to help them with memorizing knowledge and developing their working memory skills. The strategies are discussed with parents at the Curriculum Information Workshop in Term 1 and can be found in the documents attached. 

We ask that you do the following each day Monday to Thursday for 20+ minutes:

• Learn phonics or spellings using strategies
• Learn number facts using memory strategies
• Reading - focus on asking your child comprehension questions
• complete mental maths learning
• Use a Growth Mindset to encourage - positive thinking, it's about effort rather than a result, mistakes are part of learning
