This week, Year 1 learnt all about Remembrance Day and why it is celebrated by so many. In order to show our respect and say thank you to all the soldiers that fought for us, we created our own Poppy wreath. To do this, we started by looking at real life poppies and decided what colours we should should use 🔴⚫️. We then coloured in our poppies ✏️and collaged them using red card and tissue paper 🎨. Once finished we were able to hang our wreath outside our classrooms.
