Due to better weather, last Thursday Year One had the opportunity to reschedule their ‘Outdoor Day’. We had lots of fun spending the day outside! In the playground, we played bean bags games to sort for colour 🎨, used natural objects to make number sets 🌿and created birthday cakes using playdough and match sticks 🎂 In the garden, we went on a word hunt 🔎, practiced our formation on the chalk boards 👩🏫 and made the letter ‘p’ using natural materials 🌿. Later, we completed a science experiment and got to make our very own potion 🪄🧙♀️ We also got to join the other class to play outside before home time!
