Today is National Bee Day and the Year 1 children have been finding out about bees as part of their Minibeast topic. We are very lucky to have our own beekeeping family in school, Miss Laidlaw brought us in some of her dad’s homemade honey to try. Everyone tried some on yummy pancakes. We also made bee models and danced to the waggle song!
