Year 5 experimented with 10 substances to investigate if they would dissolve in water. We predicted which substances were soluble and non soluble. We found out charged sides of water molecules means that water is able to become heavily attracted to the charged ends of other components. This attraction disrupts the forces holding the other compound together, dissolving it!
